Welcome to Bites of Temptation — where every order is baked by hand, wrapped with care, and delivered with indulgence in mind. By purchasing through our website (www.bitesoftemptation.co.uk) you agree to the following terms.

1. Ordering & Payment

  • All orders are processed through our secure Shopify checkout system.

  • We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and other payment options displayed at checkout.

  • Full payment is required before your order is baked and dispatched.

  • Once an order is confirmed, we are unable to make changes to items or flavours.

2. Baking & Handmade Disclaimer

  • Every treat is baked fresh, by hand, in small batches.

  • Natural variations in shape, size, and finish will occur — this is part of the handmade charm.

  • While every care is taken, slight differences from photographs or descriptions should be expected.

3. Allergens & Dietary Information

  • All cookies contain gluten, dairy, and eggs unless specifically noted.

  • Certain flavours may contain nuts, peanuts, or other allergens.

  • Cross-contamination: While we take every precaution, all products are prepared in a kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soya, nuts, peanuts, and tree nuts.

  • Customers are responsible for checking allergen information before purchasing.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders are processed within 2–3 working days before dispatch.

  • Deliveries are made via Royal Mail 24hr Tracked. Most parcels arrive next working day after dispatch.

  • A tracking link will be provided.

  • We currently deliver UK mainland only.

Delays & Lost Parcels

  • Once handed to Royal Mail, your parcel is in their care. Any disputes (delays, mis-deliveries, loss) must be raised with Royal Mail.

  • However, we encourage you to contact us within 24 hours of any issues so we can support you through the process.

Damaged Parcels

  • If your order arrives damaged, please email support@bitesoftemptation.co.uk within 24 hours, including photos of the packaging and cookies.

  • We review all claims on a case-by-case basis and will support you where possible.

Late Deliveries

  • If your order arrives later than expected, we will include an extra complimentary treat to keep your experience sweet.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Due to the perishable nature of our cookies and brownies, we do not accept returns once orders have been dispatched.

  • Refunds or replacements are only considered in cases of:

    • Product damage in transit (with photographic evidence).

    • Incorrect item sent (our error).

  • Each case is handled individually with customer satisfaction in mind.

6. Biters Club & Subscriptions

  • Members of the Biters Club unlock exclusive 6-inch Big Bites, monthly drops, early access, and seasonal benefits.

  • Subscription fees are billed automatically according to the plan selected at checkout.

  • Members can pause or cancel anytime via their account dashboard.

  • Benefits and rewards may change from time to time.

  • We are developing a Loyalty Plan to launch in early 2026, which may integrate with the Biters Club.

7. Cookie Care

  • Best enjoyed fresh within 5 days of arrival.

  • Safe to eat up to 12–14 days, though flavour and texture may naturally change.

  • Freeze for up to 6 months for longer enjoyment (flavour/texture may change slightly).

  • Always reheat, then let cool, for that “fresh-from-the-oven” magic.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All branding, product names, descriptions, images, and designs are the property of Bites of Temptation.

  • No material may be copied, used, or redistributed without written consent.

9. Liability

  • Bites of Temptation is not liable for:

    • Delays, loss, or damage once parcels are with Royal Mail.

    • Adverse reactions due to allergens not disclosed to us at time of purchase.

    • Customer misuse of products beyond recommended storage/consumption dates.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
